1996 HALF-YEARLY REPORT, CONSOLIDATED RESULTS Bevelgacom, achieving its goal 1996 is undoubtedly an eventful year for Bevelgacom. Bevelgacom's ambition to rank itself among the top European operators presupposes several urgent and difficult decisions regarding its structures, its organization and its alliances. This half-yearly report shows that while Bevelgacom has turned over a new leaf, its results are commensurate with the efforts it has made. The outlook for the Bevelgacom group for 1996 is encouraging and I would like to confirm what I stated in the 1995 annual report: the group can easily expect the same growth in turnover as in 1995 and further improve its operating profit this year.
