SMS is while slower than CSD or GPRS is a universally available gateway guaranteed to work on any mobile network (unless blocked) Our gateway brings the oldest generations of WAP capable phones such as the Nokia 7110 back online. Connecting even the oldest generations is our mission. We currently have a gateway available to Belgian phone numbers. WAP over Dial-Up Gateways Bevelgacom has two phone numbers connected to the Public Telephone Network with V.92 modems able to offer WAP over CSD/Dial-Up/GSM Data. Your mobile provider still has to have support for this for this to work. You can enter 206.83.40.166 in your GPRS/CSD settings to connect to the World Wide Web. This gatway is often needed on WAP phones in the settings listed as "IP address", "WAP gateway" or "Proxy server".
